We need Good Jobs!!

“Has the government created employment? If we have good jobs and good incomes then why are people going on to the Middle East and other countries paying 100000, 200000, 300000? How many villagers are there? Now part of Wennappuwa is called little Italy and part of Italy is called little Wennappuwa; In Japan? Why is this? Jobs are not provided and let’s be frank about it.”

The country is submerging with public debts

“Look at the composition of government expenditure, which is alarming to me. In 1990 when we were running the economy; the biggest expenditure was the categories of what we call goods services transfers and subsidies. Today, the biggest expenditure is debt servicing”
